Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 to “love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Today and every day going forward we will pray for those in the news and for those who need the love of Jesus in their hearts. If there is anyone you feel compelled to pray for in this blog, please email me at akersofracing@aol.com.

The leader of Bethel worship ministry, Joel Taylor, desperately needs our prayers right now. His two-year-old son, Jaxon, has been in the hospital fighting for his life after being diagnosed with E. coli; and now his four-year-old daughter, Addie, has been admitted to the hospital with the same infection. So:

“In the name of Jesus, we come against this strand of E. coli that has entered the bodies of these two precious children. We bind that spirit of infection, and we know that “by His stripes, we are healed.” Holy Spirt, we need miraculous healing for these two children so that they may continue their life journey, a life journey that will honoring to you and give you all the praise and glory. And we lift up Joel right now and his wife that they not be anxious about this, knowing that you have this, and that your grace is sufficient. Take away the worry and the anxiety, and be with them and comfort them as they help nurse their children back to health. Help them to be strong in you throughout this valley. You are the Great Physician and the Great Healer. To you be the glory. Amen.”

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, MEV)
