VIDEO PODCAST: How My Teen Daughter Challenges Me

I’ve always said that parenting is the most difficult job anyone could have. Having been one for nearly 15 years, I still am not sure I have a clue about it.

My 16-year-old daughter, a sophomore in high school, presents many challenges for my wife, Patty, and I. She’s beautiful, smart and talented (not that I’m biased), but she’s also got personality traits that I simply do not understand. Watch this video, and please let me know how you handle parenting a teenage girl in the comments section.

As Dr. Michelle Watson says, “A girl can tell if her dad has his heart turned toward her or if only his head is turned” — From Dr. Watson’s book, Dad, Here’s What I Really Need From You.

“Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine in your house, your children like olive shoots around your table” (Psalm 128:3, MEV).
