If the Enemy is Attacking You, Think on These Things

If you feel like Satan has targeted you, it’s because he’s scared. Really scared.

By Shawn A. Akers

Did I not tell you that this book was incredible? Shake Free: How to Deal With the Storms, Shipwrecks and Snakes in Your Life is probably the most encouraging book I’ve ever read. In my opinion, it certainly is the best book Rev. Rodriguez has ever written–and I’ve read a few of them.

Check out these posts that hammer home my point: Just Shake it Off!, ‘For With God, All Things are Possible,’ and this Quote of the Day.

Today, I want to share with you an excerpt from the 12th chapter. Rev. Rodriguez says:

  • If the enemy is attacking you, it’s because God is about to use you.
  • If the enemy is attacking your life, it’s because God is working in you.
  • If the enemy is attacking your weakness, it’s because you’re about to display God’s strength.
  • If the enemy is attacking you right now, it’s because you’re so close to arriving in Rome (Paul’s destination). So close!

I don’t know about you, but I feel blessed. The enemy is attacking me right now. He’s attacking my life, and he’s attacking my weakness. That means God is about ready to use me, he’s working in me and I’m about to display God’s strength.

That’s enough encouragement to carry me throughout the day, the week, the month and the year. I hope you take this encouragement to heart.

The enemy doesn’t want you to do anything that will bring God glory and further His kingdom. If you’re doing that, then he’ll try to undermine you. Take up your weapons and fight Him–tooth and nail.

Do something today to step out of the boat and become a kingdom champion.

“I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:14)

Step Out of the Boat is a ministry created by Charisma Media Content Development Editor Shawn A. 1. I need all the resources on the subject I can get my hands on. The enemy has me in his sights and he is not letting up.

    • Em, my apologies for the unbelievable delay in getting back to you. I pray that things are better for you. I know exactly how you feel. I’m going through perhaps the worst period of my life, but I know that God is with me and that He is taking care of me. I would like to help, just let me know how.
